Monthly Meeting: Tuesday, April 7 @ 7pm Hampton Place
Join us for a special ‘Hybrid’ (Live and via Zoom) monthly meeting to discuss “The Adventure of the Mazarin Stone” in which Sherlock Holmes is hired by the British government to locate the whereabouts of a stolen diamond! This case takes place entirely in the sitting room of Holmes’ 221B Baker Street lodgings and is likely based on Conan Doyle’s own stage play, The Crown Diamond.
This tale from The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes was first published in the Strand Magazine in October, 1921 and in the United States in Hearst’s International Magazine in November, 1921.
To start off the meeting, Petrel member Peter German will be presenting his award-winning talk on “Holmes and the Yard”.
