A great beginning to the year as 13 Stormy Petrels met at The White Spot near Stanley Park in Vancouver to celebrate the birthday of the world’s first and undoubtedly the best consulting detective.
Treasurer Elsa is collecting annual dues which will ensure at least 6 issues of our “Petrel Flyer” will be coming your way.
Did you know that the Stormy Petrels also have a facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/thestormypetrels
Our “Master’s Dinner” will take place March 14th, and Elsa needs to know if you are planning to attend. If you are, please let me know, as soon as possible, if you are planning to offer a toast.
On January 9th our editor, Krista Lee Munro and I will be heading south of the border to attend Seattle’s Sherlock Con. Stay tuned for reports of our adventures!
The next regular meeting of The Stormy Petrels of BC will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd. 7:00 pm, Hampton Place. The story for discussion will be “The Greek Interpreter”
Happy Sherlockian New Year!
