The Stormy Petrels of BC will be meeting on February 1st to discuss their first adventure of the year.
“The Gloria Scott” was first published in April, 1893 both in the Strand Magazine (in the UK) and in Harper’s Weekly (US)
Since this adventure took place before Watson’s time, it is narrated by Holmes himself. It gives us a glimpse as to how Holmes began his career in detecting. (Thank you, Trevor Sr.!)
This meeting will be Zoom only. “Priory Schoolmaster” Sheldon will be e-mailing the link.
Good news! Rich Krisciunas will deliver a power point presentation on “The Transportation Act of 1717.”
When: Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 at 7:00 pm (Pacific Time)
